The Examination Process

The examination will take place in Brussels on the 1 st of April 2016.

Venue: UEMS Headquarters  (Domus Medica Europea). 24 Rue de L´Industrie. 1040 Brussels. Belgium.

The language of the examination is English.

The examination is written and consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (best of five/single-best answer) covering Cardiac/Cardiovascular Surgery Clinical Cases; Cardiac/Cardiovascular Surgery Topics  and Applied Anatomy, Physiology & Critical Care.  The examination will be undertaken in the generality of the specialty with an emphasis on adult cardiac surgery.

The 150 Questions are administered in two 90-minute sesions separated by a 30 minute break.

The total duration of the exam is approximately  210 mintues
